Charlotte’s Storm Water Advisory Committee Accepting Applications

Mecklenburg County residents are encouraged to apply to serve on the Storm Water Advisory Committee (SWAC). SWAC members evaluate stormwater procedures, listen to appeals, and decide service charges. Their responsibilities include analyzing capital growth initiatives and suggesting stormwater policies to City officials. Members serve a three-year term and must work in the industrial, manufacturing, or commercial property industry. This role requires roughly a two-and-a-half-hour commitment per month.
