Melody Adames

Melody joined the Greater Apartment Association in February 2024. Before joining the GCAA, Melody spent 24 years working in the Multifamily Industry. Melody has worked in both conventional and affordable housing. She has served on various committees with the GCAA. She graduated from the Leadership Lyceum Program, Train the Trainer, and was the 2022 AANC DE&I Scholarship recipient and holds the CAM and CAPS designations. She has been a mentor with Blue Ridge Companies and an instructor with the GCAA. She is also a GCAA Manager of the Year award recipient in 2007 and 2020 and Manager of the Year with Blue Ridge in 2009.

A native of Newark, NJ, Melody moved south in 1998.
Melody enjoys crafting and spending time with her mom and close friends in her spare time.
