Census Collection Will End on September 30!

Just two minutes of your time makes a big difference for the next ten years! The deadline for completing your census response is swiftly approaching.

Why is this important? Article I, Section 2 of the United States Constitution mandates that a census take place every ten years. The census helps determine the allocation of numerous federal programs, including how many members of Congress a state gets.  Without a lot more action, North Carolina is on track to potentially have an under count. An inaccurate or low count could mean that the state does not receive all of the resources it needs.
