Owners/Operators! Would you like to hear about new funding program that will provide guaranteed rent subsidies for 12 – 24 months?
SocialServe/HousingCLT is hosting a virtual event on December 1 from 1:00 – 2:00PM for the purpose of recruiting additional housing providers that have units available and are willing to accept rental subsides for households with income less than 80% of area median income or $79,000 for a family of four.  These would be families at risk of experiencing homelessness within the Mecklenburg County area.  Guaranteed rent subsidies for 12 – 24 months are available to assist these families.

Participants will also hear about rental subsidies and supportive services for current and future tenants, opportunities to work with Socialserve and their partners to receive that support, and this new initiative to preserve affordable housing. Panelists include Erin Barbee from Charlotte Mecklenburg Housing Partnership, Mark Ethridge from Ascent Capital, Deronda Metz from Salvation Army, and Stephen McQueen from Roof Above.
