As a property management professional, you should feel confident that you know how to effectively collect money owed from your residents, but: do you know if you are doing it legally? Find out what kinds of debts are covered under law; who qualifies as a "Debt Collector"; the difference between a creditor and a collector; how to communicate (and NOT to communicate) with residents about their unpaid balances, and the most up to date debt collection law guidance... No one wants to be on the wrong end of a claim for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act - Let us help you stay out of harm's way!
