Contribute to Mecklenburg County's 2023 Property Revaluation Process

The Mecklenburg County Assessor's Office is seeking volunteers to serve on the 2023 Citizens Revaluation Advisory Committee. The committee plays a valuable role in the revaluation process, where all property is revalued per N.C. law to its current market value.

Committee members work with the County Assessor, management, and staff to review the operations and statistical reports related to the 2023 revaluation and provide updates to the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners. To be eligible, applicants must be residents of Mecklenburg County and able to meet once a month from March - December 2022.

The deadline to submit an application is December 30, 2021. To request an application, the Mecklenburg County Clerk's Office is located at 600 East Fourth Street, in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 11th floor or send an E-mail: clerk@MeckNC.gov.
