South Carolina House Approves New Congressional Map
Last week, the House adopted a congressional map by a vote of 74-35, along party lines. The map updates the boundaries for the state’s 124 House districts. The bill has now gone to the Senate, which is still in the process of finalizing its version of the redistricting map and is expected to vote in the coming weeks. The House map closely resembles current boundaries, but critics say the map was drawn based on political motivations. Click here to view the House approved statewide map.
