The City of Charlotte wants to know what residents think about community planning. The Charlotte Planning, Design & Development department is hosting workshops centered around the Charlotte Future 2040 Community Area Planning process. The goal is for residents to have a say in developing Charlotte’s neighborhoods. This opportunity allows multifamily developers and residents to provide planning ideas and feedback. In addition to providing input for the Charlotte Future 2040 Plan, residents will engage with city staff from various city departments. According to Alyson Craig, Charlotte's Planning Director, the plan will bring about future development and investments. City Council has approved the Charlotte Future 2040 Plan and started phase two of community engagement.

Workshops have begun and will end on November 14.
