The Ledge,

When Robert F. Kennedy Jr., suspended his presidential race, North Carolina State Board staff reprinted over 2.9 million ballots. Roughly 193,700 North Carolina residents requested an absentee ballot for this year’s general election, including 16,000 armed forces and voters living abroad. This year, an absentee ballot submitted via the U.S. Postal Services will cost $1.77. If all North Carolina absentee voters mail in their ballots, it will cost North Carolina taxpayers approximately $342,849.00.
